Location 5/5
Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, is a vibrant city known as the festival state.
Renowned for its festivals, phenomenal wine regions, and beautiful parklands, offering a relaxed yet lively atmosphere.
Stamford Plaza Adelaide is located steps away from key attractions like the Adelaide Oval, Rundle Mall for shopping, and the Riverbank walks.
The hotel is conveniently a 15-minute drive from Adelaide Airport, which made it an ideal base for exploring the city before our 3 day road trip to Melbourne.
For dining and nightlife, the bustling Laneway bars and restaurants are close by. Chinatown is always a short 15 minute walk for an Eastern menu!

Amenities 4/5
Stamford had some great amenities that made our stay very enjoyable!
Parking is available for $30 AUD per night, and a little tip- see the concierge to swap your ticket for an overnight pass, allowing you can come and go as you like.
The mini bar in our room was well-stocked with drinks and snacks, for a convenient treat. While we didn’t try everything, it added a nice touch of comfort to our stay, knowing it was there if needed.
For my regular readers, you’ll be happy to know that there were conveniently placed power sockets right next to the bed– something I always appreciate!
We also tried the in-house Argentinian restaurant- La Boca . While the food wasn’t entirely to our taste, the service from our server was very funny and made the experience for us.
Room Experience 4/5
During our stay at Stamford Plaza Adelaide, we opted for a King Superior Room, which offered a great mix of comfort and practicality.
The room was based on the 15th floor and featured a spacious king-sized bed with super soft, inviting bedding, a small living area with a comfy armchair, a desk, and a wardrobe.
It offered modern touches like the smart TV and the free WiFi.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t get either of our phones to connect to the WiFi or the TV, which was a bit of a shame, but we definitely appreciated the thought behind it.
The air conditioning, however, kept us cool during Adelaide’s warm spring weather.
The bathroom was a highlight for me, spacious and stocked with luxurious body care products that made every shower feel like a mini spa moment.
While the room didn’t have a balcony or terrace, its city views made a beautiful view to enjoy, after a day of exploring.

Summary
To sum it up, Stamford Plaza Adelaide is a great choice for a city stay.
For $166 on a Wednesday night, you get a prime location, comfortable rooms with great amenities, and easy access to nearby attractions.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in Adelaide! A solid pick for anyone visiting the city.
As always, thank you for being here!
