Hi,
Disney park number 2/6 has been ticked off the bucket list this summer! It exceeded every expectation I had and here’s why:
Disneyland Paris is located just outside of Paris, offering two theme parks packed with classic Disney charm and European flair.
I have no affiliation with any companies mentioned in this blog, all opinions are advice are my own.
Arrival
Flying into Charles De Gaulle airport was a pro move on our behalf simply because of the ease of transport to the parks. I’ll chat more in depth about this in the next section.
On arrival to the parks, you will need to present your park ticket or room key if you’re staying on Disney property.
Lastly, if you are staying on Disney property, the arrival/ check-in experience is extremely simple. Show your ID to the receptionist and within minutes you will have your room key, map to the hotel & transportation plan to visit the parks.
Transport
Getting from the CDG airport to Disneyland Paris is very straightforward.
Train tickets are available to purchase in the airport or you can pre book online via Trainline.
Personally I would pre book online, to avoid any technical issues on the machines at the airport, like we encountered.
When booking these tickets your destination will be the ‘Marne-la-Vallée Chessy’, which arrives in the Disney village.
Complimentary shuttle buses are available outside the train station for guests staying at Disney hotels.
Disney’s Hotel Sante Fe
Booking with Attraction Tickets, had perks for us personally. As two adults staying in Hotel Sante Fe with a 3 day/ 2 park pass, €25 Disney voucher, Extra Magic Time in the parks and 10 free photo prints, we paid £355.67 each.
Hotel Sante Fe is based on life in Radiator Springs from Pixar movie ‘Cars’.
Our cosy cone room had two double beds, a large bathroom, ample storage, free WiFi and air conditioning. We LOVED the theming here.
Aside from the amazing theming, the room very clean and well equipped with ‘Cars’ themed toiletries!

Only a short 15 minute walk to the park or availing of the free shuttle buses, we were in close proximity to the parks.
Personally, we didn’t experience any of the dining options available here. However, there were 3 dining options: La Cantina, Rio Grande Bar, and Starbucks.
Overall, I loved our stay here. Everywhere you walked there were photo opportunities. Our room was cleaned and restocked daily. Most importantly, we were treated with upmost respect and enthusiasm from the minute we arrived.

The atmosphere during our 3 night stay, is what would bring me back above all else.
Parks Guide
Waking up early and making the most of them Extra Magic Time hours are not to be messed with.
In the first hour of our park day, we had managed to ride the main rollercoasters and still have time for a spot of breakfast.
Downloading the Disneyland Paris app will significantly help you squeeze more magic into your day. Not only does it have a map, but it shows updated wait times for every attraction in the park.

There are two parks in Disneyland Paris: Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios.
Disneyland Park is the classic, fairy tale-themed park. Sleeping Beauty’s Castle is the centre of attention here. It’s quite literally the centre, which stems off into five themed lands: Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland.
Classic Disney attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and It’s a Small World to the thrilling Space Mountain, the park captures the magic of Disney through the story telling in these rides!

Whereas Walt Disney Studios Park, is the movie themed counterpart to Disneyland Park.
It brings Disney, Marvel and Pixar films to life through four zones: Front Lot, Toon Studio, Production Courtyard, and Worlds of Pixar.
Not to mention big thrill attractions like Avengers Assemble: Flight Force and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, it’s a must-visit for Disney film fans.

Food
Having been to Walt Disney World, Florida, I was worried the food scene in Paris wouldn’t excite me as much.
I was pleasantly surprised with the range of menu options and variety of food cultures!
Crepes from the food carts outside It’s a Small World, we’re out of this world… pun absolutely intended!
As an avid watcher of The Lodge Guys, it was essential to try out the quiche and cafe au lait from Main Street. This meal ended up being one of my favourites.
Many Mickey shaped Bingets were consumed over the 3 days in the parks, which I think speaks for itself.
The ham and cheese croque missours were delightful from Main Street.

Summary
Overall, Disneyland Paris exceed all my expectations in every aspect.
The theming was phenomenal, as to be expected from any Disney park.
Wait times were pleasantly low, considering it was during the summer holidays in August.
Every bite we ate from inside the parks to the Mc Donald’s in the Disney village was delicious and reasonably priced.
Our hotel was a massive hit for us both and still can’t understand the two star rating because we couldn’t have faulted a single part of our stay!
The organisation of transportation from the airport to the parks and parks to the hotel, was executed with such ease.
I genuinely had thee most wonderful time! Always helps when you’re in great company too!

As always thank you for being here!
