Cabin Max | Carry On Tote Review

Hiii,

Brogan Tate made me want this bag more than ever! I seen her using it in a packing video & just thought it’s perfect. Having had the Cabin Max X Travel Hack Tote for just over a year, I feel like I can give this a real and honest review!

Cabin Max X Travel Hack Tote

I want to preface that specific bag is no longer available, but a new and similar one is! All of the things I mention in this post is also available on the Cabin Max Vela Tote, which is available on their website.

Cabin Max is a UK brand which specialise in luggage with exact measurements for an array of airlines. Essentially, your getting the maximum space allowance for your carry on luggage! Personally, I have travelled on One World airlines, like Qatar, British Airways, Air Lingus etc with this bag for free. It also fits the free hang luggage requirements for Easy Jet and Emirates! Holding 30L capacity, I find it perfect for weekend trips!

Size & Storage

I mentioned above this is a 30L capacity tote bag. In terms of packing cubes I can fit 1 large (40x30x10cm) & 1 small (30x20x10cm) compression packing cube, along with my toiletry bag, straighteners, laptop & general travel bits. This bag I’ve linked *here* is the same dimensions as my bag, with a slightly different layout. It will be the same amount of packing!

For the size of this bag it’s also worth noting there is two handles to carry, a cross body strap and a back pocket to slot onto the handle of rolling luggage. These features also come with the new bag I’ve linked. Very nifty!

The storage in this bag is what I love most. An internal straighteners pocket. Padded compartments that fit laptops and tablets. Water bottle holder. Netted zip compartments to keep your smaller valuables safe from falling out. Paired with a zip on the back pocket that slides onto your luggage handle. Ideal for passports and boarding passes! Again all of these fabulous storage options are available in the Vela bag.

Price

Okay. Jordan bought me this bag, so I actually don’t know the exact price but I feel like it was around £70? The newer version of my bag on there site is £85, so I’m going to base my review on that price.

Highly aware this is on the expensive side. Hence why it was bought to me as a gift. Do I love it? Absolutely, it’s my favourite bag to travel with. Would I purchase it for myself? Probably not.

My personal opinion is, it’s worth the money but nicer as a gift. I don’t know if I could justify £85 on myself, but I would definitely gift this to friends and family of mine! It’s a beautiful looking bag and very functional, which to me is the perfect combination for a great gift. On the other hand, if you are in the market for a good quality carry on, then it might be worth investing in yourself too!

Overall

The vegan leather and rose gold details make this bag undoubtedly gorgeous! Very sleek and elegant. Being a 30L bag, it’s spacious and paired with the built in organisation, it’s a dream to pack with. I’ve brought this bag on board with me around the world. It’s seen over 20 flights being on board and checked in. Along with many weekend trips in the car. There is little to no wear and tear on this bag. A few scratches on the bottom of the bag & that’s it.

All things considered, it’s a fantastic piece of luggage to have at hand & I definitely feel like every travel goer should have one!
