London | Where to Eat

Hi,

London’s food scene is a amazing because of its diversity.

Street food markets like Borough and Camden showcasing local specialties. No shortage of historic pubs and trendy cafes, the city’s dining options are full of culture from all over the globe.

Day 1

Day 1- London

Breakfast at L’Opera in South Kensington, started the trip off on the perfect note.

The Lotus Biscoff French Toast, was the softest brioche French toast piled high with delicious toppings, as you can see in the photo!

At just £11, this generous portion felt like a steal for the quality and quick service, especially in London.

Coffee break on your way back to the tube, has to be Anya’s Cafe. A smooth oat latte for £3.70 and charming little takeaway cup is a yes from me.

As far as dining for dinner, Flat Iron Steakhouse, cannot be missed. A steak dinner for £16, is unbeatable value for London!

A cosy atmosphere welcomed by complimentary popcorn and water while you wait. The dinner itself was delicious, but the complimentary ice cream cone was the topping on the cake for me personally.

Finally, Be At One Cocktail Bars! No matter the occasion this is our go to cocktail bar in London.

With an extensive cocktail menu, including six mocktails, there’s something for everyone. The Raspberry Beret is my personal favourite and for £10, you can’t go too wrong.

This brings our total for Day One of dining in London to a delicious £40.70!

Lunch/ Dinner Favourites

The Cheese Wheel – You’ll find this in Camden Markets. An indulgent creamy pasta stirred in a massive Parmesan cheese wheel.

A true treat for cheese lovers! Sharing one portion was perfect for us, given its richness. Roughly £7 for a unique, flavor-packed experience. A must-try!

Emelia’s Hand Crafted Pasta at St. Katharine Docks.

This cozy spot offers authentic Italian pasta with premium flavours, while over looking the docks.

The casarecce with walnut sauce and chestnut mushrooms is thee most rich, delicious pasta dish. £12.50 for a hearty portion of pasta, I feel like a value dining location.

It’s essential to pre book this restaurant as it booked out weeks in advance!

Pig Dogs in Greenwich Market is a perfect stop for a quick bite.

The BBQ pulled pork sandwich impressed even a non-pork eater like me. The slow-smoked flavor was incredible, and at £8, it’s ideal for sharing. Perfect for a satisfying market snack!

L’Opera- South Kensington

London offers a wide range of dining experiences to suit every budget.

Over the course of our three-day stay, we spent approximately £200 on food and drinks, allowing us to enjoy a variety of flavors without feeling like we held back.
